The Federal Government has placed a ₦5 million bounty on seven inmates who escaped from the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Ilesa, Osun State.

Heavy rainfall on Tuesday, May 20, caused the prison wall to collapse, giving the inmates a chance to flee. Following this, the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) launched a nationwide manhunt in collaboration with other security agencies.
