
In a thrilling UEFA Champions League semifinal second leg, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) secured a 2–1 victory over Arsenal, advancing to the final with a 3–1 aggregate score. Fabián Ruiz broke the deadlock in the 27th minute with a stunning long-range strike, followed by Achraf Hakimi’s goal in the 72nd minute. Despite a spirited response from Arsenal, with Bukayo Saka scoring in the 76th minute, the Gunners fell short.
Arsenal pressed hard early, but PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma delivered key saves to preserve the lead. A missed penalty by PSG’s Vitinha in the second half gave Arsenal hope, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.
With this win, PSG advances to the Champions League final, set to face Inter Milan on May 31 in Munich. The French side now eyes their first Champions League title.
