Popular Controversial Nigerian Singer, Speed Darlington, faces multiple backlashes from fans after going live on Instagram and openly admitting to allegedly having sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl. As moments passed on his livestream, he went ahead to narrate the entire incident in his native Igbo that took place at an unidentified hotel, where he had allegedly engaged in said sexual relations with the 15-year-old and deflowered her in the process.
The 15-year-old in question was said to have been left bleeding after the sexual encounter, and the Singer even had to pay the Hotel staff N2000 to have the sheets changed. Following this, the Singer went ahead to put out a Disclaimer video on his Instagram page stating that said confession was a fabricated publicity stunt aimed at promoting his latest single.
Despite his claims, he has received a significant amount of backlash as fans are outraged by his claims and are met with a lot of skepticism, sparking controversies across social media and even among Government Officials. While he is currently under investigation, he has not been detained.
